Asian American Journalists Association is seeking applications for six-day training camp for High School Students in US. This program brings together a culturally diverse group of students from across the nation to learn from veteran journalists and leading media executives. JCamp participants will receive hands-on training and produce multi platform news packages for the program’s news site. This training will be held at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. High school on June 21 to 26 2013.
Requirements-
- Transcript.
- Letter of recommendation.
- Two 250-word essays-
- One 250-word essay about what living person applicant would interview, why and what questions applicants would ask.
- One 250-word essay on why applicant should be selected for JCamp.
- Optional materials that may also be submitted-
- Work samples as PDFs.
- A YouTube video with a URL provided by the applicant.
