PetSmart Charities seeking applications for two high-impact spay/neuter United States grant programs. The Targeted Spay/Neuter Program is intended to provide funding and mentoring for high impact spay/neuter project that focus on owned pets in areas where there is a critical need. Target areas may include all or part of a county, city, township, ZIP code, census tract, neighborhood, mobile home park, or other location.
Eligibility-
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, a pre-determination or decision letter from the IRS and at least twelve months of financial records after date of incorporation; and government, law-enforcement, and tribal entities, or educational institutions with a budget for animal care/control. PetSmart Charities typically does not provide funding to private foundations.
