AIDS United is now accepting proposals from community-based organizations in the implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention programs serving priority populations in Puerto Rico.
AIDS United will support the community based organization who are working with priority population and will award 7-10 grants of up to $30,000 each by December 31, 2012, for the period of one year starting from January 1, 2013 – December 31, 2013.
The focus of Grants is meant to boost the capacity of community-based organizations and collaboratives to provide vital HIV/AIDS prevention services, such as risk reduction counseling and group programs, HIV testing and counseling, peer-based outreach and education, syringe exchange and community-level interventions to reduce stigma. These grants are intended to support costs directly associated with the design, implementation and/or evaluation of specific HIV/AIDS prevention interventions.
Organizations interested in applying for a grant must submit a complete application via AIDS United’s grant system Philantrack, Applications in either language will receive equal consideration.
