Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships (SSS) programme is accepting applications from Students who want to enroll in different courses and wish to study abroad. The scholarships are available to undergraduate, masters or phD students from any of the focus countries mentioned below. Selected students will be provided with the scholarships being run by the Scottish Government.
Scholarships are available for a one year full time undergraduate, masters or phD course at any of the 19 Scotland’s higher education institutions/universities. Applicants can choose their desired university/institution from among these 19 universities.

- India
- United States of America
Subjects to be studied (not limited to)
- Creative industries
- Life sciences
- Technology
- Financial services
- Renewable and Clean energy
- Arts and Humanities
- Communications, Media and Culture
- Physical, Life and Earth Sciences
Prizes and rewards
- 200 awards will be given each worth £2,000 (~US$3102)
Eligibility Criteria
- Students interested in taking full time study on an undergraduate, master’s or Ph.D. course in Scotland are eligible to apply.
- Applicants previously been awarded the Saltire Scholarship are ineligible to apply again.
- Scholarships are available to the students of mentioned countries only. Applicant who have studied undergraduate or postgraduate course in Scotland before and wish to apply for these scholarships are ineligible.

Applications can be submitted online. The form is available on the website where the applicants need to indicate their personal details and course of study.
