South Asian Journalism Association (SAJA) is seeking applications for Journalism Scholarships Programme. SAJA is offering $60,000 as scholarship and internship assistance. The purpose of this programme is to help applicants for their studies by offering them educational expenses.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Students from across the United States, Canada and South Asia can apply for the awards. But applicants must be pursuing their education in a North American educational institution in Fall 2014.
- Applicants must either be of South Asian origin or demonstrate a strong interest in covering South Asia and/or the diaspora.
- Applicants with financial hardship may be given special consideration.
- Applicants must also provide an update of their journalistic endeavors and achievements at the conclusion of the academic year.
