Administration for Children & Families – ACYF/FYSB is offering funding opportunity for Street Outreach Program to provide services to youth living on the streets and inunstable situations by reaching out to them. The purpose of this program is to increase young people’s safety, well-being, and self-sufficiency, and to help them build permanent connections with caring adults, with the goal of getting them off the streets.
The mission of this program is to prevent the sexual abuse or exploitation of young people living on the streets or in unstable housing.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- State governments
- County governments
- City or township governments
- Independent school districts
- Private institutions of higher education
- Special district governments
- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
- Native American tribal governments (federally recognized)
- Native American tribal organizations (other than federally recognized tribal governments)
- Nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Eligible applicants include public and non-profit private entities that include States, localities, and coordinated networks of such entities.
