The United States Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, is seeking applications from organizations for the program “Morocco Justice Sector Reform Feasibility Studies” in order to minimize the impact of international crime and illegal drugs on the United States, its citizens, and partner nations by providing effective foreign assistance and fostering global cooperation.
Purpose of the Program
- Creation of a national center for criminal records;
- Creation of a national observatory for analysis and statistical monitoring of criminal phenomena;
- Creation of a Supreme Judicial Council.
Grant Information
INL will provide a funding amount of $500,000.

Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. non-profit organization or a U.S. private/state educational institution meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c) (3) and can demonstrate current country registration in Morocco are eligible to apply for the program.
- Local, in-country, non-profit organization, educational institution, or private institutions that can demonstrate current country registration in Morocco are also eligible to apply for the program.
- Applicants should have:
- demonstrated experience administering successful technical assistance projects and studies, preferably in Morocco or the region, or similarly challenging program environment.
- existing, or the capacity to develop, active partnerships with organizations in the Morocco and the region.
