W.K. Kellogg Foundation is pleased to offer $5 million investment to identify and expand promising family engagement efforts that support early childhood educational success. The goal of this program is to promote local efforts in family engagement, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation is taking a new approach: challenging communities to see families, regardless of race, ethnicity or income level, as powerful assets for their children’s education.
Submissions required-
Qualified organizations may submit one initial submission on which they are the lead applicant. Proposals that outline effective teaching strategies, work to align early childhood systems in their communities and focus on building family economic security as they connect to strong family engagement in education are strongly encouraged.
Eligibility-
Public entities or nonprofit organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and can demonstrate the fiscal capacity to manage the funds may apply.
