Applications are accepted U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy in Kabul for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Local Grants Program. The mission of this program is to provides flexible, quick-impact grants to organizations to support projects which enhance the capacity of law enforcement personnel to counter violent extremist ideology and recruitment.
Objectives-
- Countering violent propaganda and the al-Qaida narrative
- Creating and providing alternatives to persons at risk of recruitment
- Improving the capacity of civil society and governments to execute objectives 1 and 2
Eligibility-
CVE grants are intended for civil society organizations, including nonprofit organizations (NPOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), educational institutions, and commercial enterprises.
