European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights is inviting proposals for Country-Based Support Scheme(CBSS) in Albania. The purpose of this proposal is to promote the respect for human rights in Albania, and to strengthen the role of civil society organizations in the consolidation of democracy and the rule of law. The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 1,080,000.
The objectives of this proposals are-
- Protecting women’s rights and promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment
- Protecting the rights of the child
- Advancing the rights of discriminated groups, focusing on people with disabilities, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) persons
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons and
- be non-profit-making and
- be a civil society organization, such as non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and
- be established in2 Albania or in a Member State of the European Union, in an accession or official candidate country as recognized by the European Union or in Member State of the European Economic Area, and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
