Proposals are accepted for Neighborhood Civil Society Facility in Armenian to strength and promote Armenian civil society organizations’ role in reforms and democratic changes. The goal of this program is to support the establishment and/or enhancement of mechanism for CSOs engagement in policy dialogue and formulation, as well increase interaction between civil society and authorities at the national level so as to contribute to improving transparency and quality of public policy of sector strategies in the mentioned ENP Action Plan policy areas.
Objective-
To enhance the role and capacities of civil society actors in promoting and monitoring reforms and increasing public accountability in the following EU Armenian ENP Action Plan policy areas: public finance management including public procurement; fight against corruption; justice; agriculture; border management; migration and asylum; regional development; technical barriers to trade facilitation; food safety control; vocational education and training.
The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is Euro 1,700,000. The initial planned duration of an activity may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be legal person
- Be non-profit making
- Belong to one of the following category-
- Civil society organizations, including non-governmental non-profit organizations and independent foundations, think tanks, community based organizations and private sector non-profit agencies, institutions and organizations.
- Research organizations, institutions and organization and networks at local, national, regional and international level
- International and regional inter-governmental organizations
- Be a national of Armenia or of member state of European Union or the European Economic Area
- Be directly responsible for the preparation for the preparation and management of the action with co-applicants and affiliated entities not acting as an intermediary
