Open Society Foundations Armenia (OSF-Armenia), together with the Arts and Culture Program of the Open Society Foundations (OSF) announces a call for project proposal addressing current issues facing civil society in the country by using arts and culture as a means to address relevant problems.
The aim of the effort is to promote participatory democracy, civic activism, and informed decision-making on the part of citizens using contemporary arts and culture as a tool. Projects focusing on the promotion of free and fair elections, freedom of assembly and association, freedom of expression, political corruption, the issue of army service, environmental problems, and other fundamental rights will be prioritized. The proposed projects may address more than one of the above-mentioned issues, and may also focus on relevant social issues not listed above.
The call is open to non-governmental and non-profit organizations, foundations, and non-registered initiatives and activists groups working in the field of arts and culture, as well as organizations operating in the media sector. Please note that non-registered initiatives may apply only through a registered organization.
