The Open Society Foundations- Armenia (OSF-Armenia) Youth Action Fund is currently seeking grant application from interested individuals for programs that have potential to bring positive changes in Armenian Society. OSF-Armenia’s Youth Action Fund
OSF-Armenia’s Youth Action Fund is a new initiative aimed at supporting youth designed and youth led initiatives. The purpose of the Youth Action Fund is to identify, inspire, and support individuals and/or small groups of dedicated young people who can mobilize and influence large numbers of their peers to promote open society ideals. Youth Action Fund is currently seeking innovative proposals from youth focusing on issues including but not limited to: education, youth employment, community needs and management, environment, corruption, promotion of active citizenship etc. This small grant fund is aimed at utilizing the knowledge, skills and motivation of young people in addressing community level problems or bringing attention to global issues through support to innovative and challenging ideas.
This project is a partnership between the OSI Youth Initiative and the Open Society Foundations-Armenia.
The fund values innovative ideas and techniques and encourages participants to send proposals that include action steps that go beyond just holding trainings, meetings and seminars.
Budget
The requested budget for an initiative should not exceed 300,000 AMD. No honoraria shall be included in the budget. The provided budget shall be spent on the activities of the initiative only.
Eligibility Criteria
The call is open to young individuals, informal civil society youth groups and youth movements.
– Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of Armenia currently residing in Armenia or legal residents of the Republic of Armenia
– Applicants must be between 18-25 years old
– Youth may partner with an NGO but OSF-Armenia will not accept proposals from NGOs on behalf of youth
