All eligible organizations are invited to submit applications for Azerbaijan Media Support Activity (AMSA) Programme supported by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The objective of this programme is to support citizen access to information and will capitalize on new opportunities associated with development and expansion of new Information Communication Technologies (ICT). The activity will assist existing and independent media outlets to disseminate socially valuable, high-quality information, strengthen legal protections for media freedom/expression and improve the capacity of media to meet professional standards and practices.

Organizations may request funding of up to $2,400,000 for over 3 years.
Eligibility criteria:
- USAID entertains applications from qualified U.S. entities, such as private, nonprofit organizations (or for-profit companies willing to forego profits), including private voluntary organizations, universities, research organizations, professional associations, and relevant special interest associations.
- To be eligible for award of a Cooperative Agreement, in addition to other conditions of this RFA, organizations must have a commitment to non‐discrimination with respect to beneficiaries and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices. Non discrimination includes equal treatment without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, gender, and political affiliation.
- Applicants are reminded that U.S. Executive Orders and U.S. law prohibits transactions with, and the provision of resources and support to, individuals and organizations associated with terrorism. It is the legal responsibility of the Recipient to ensure compliance with these Executive Orders and laws. This provision must be included in all sub‐awards issued under this Cooperative Agreement.
