Proposals are accepted for Round 2 advancing human rights of all persons with disabilities. The aim of this program is to both capacity of marginalized and emergent groups of persons with disabilities to advocate for their rights and ongoing efforts of national level DPOs to advance CRPD implementation.
DRF currently administers three funding streams-
- Single organizations or partnerships for Small Grants
- Mid-Level (state, regional, provincial, district, or country-Pacific Island countries only) DPO-led coalitions for Mid-Level Coalition Grants
- National DPO-led coalitions for National Coalition Grants
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Organization must be based in Bangladesh or Uganda
- Organization must be disabled persons’ organization (DPO), primarily governed by and composed of persons with disabilities
- Organization must advocate for the advancement of rights of persons with disabilities
- Organization must have legal registration and an organizational bank account
- Proposed project fit with at least one of DRF’s priority areas for the Small Grant, Mid-Level Coalition Grant, or National Coalition Grants funding stream
