Applicants from Bangladesh are invited to apply for Fulbright Foreign Student Program offered by United States government. The applicants will pursue fully-funded master’s degree in the U.S.
Fulbright grant provisions include – round-trip airfare, tuition and related academic fees, a monthly stipend for room, board, and incidental expenses, a book allowance, health and accident insurance, travel allowance, and excess baggage allowance.
The grants will be offered for degrees in the following fields- Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences – Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/Pharmacy/, Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics, Business Administration, Economics, Education – Higher Education Administration/Education Policy, English Literature – American Literature/Linguistics/TESOL, Environmental Studies & Disaster Management, Finance & Management, History, International Relations, Journalism – Media & Communication, Law – Dispute Resolution/Energy/Environmental/Natural Resources/Intellectual, Property/International Law and Public Administration
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Have at least a four-year bachelor’s degree, with an outstanding academic record (preferably first class)
- Not have a degree from a U.S. university
- Not hold a master’s degree from any third country (those holding Bangladeshi master’s degrees are also eligible)
- Have at least two years full-time professional experience
- Have relevant degrees and/or professional experience in their proposed field of study
- Be between 24 – 30 years old
- Be fluent in English
- Be in good health
- Be Bangladeshi citizens residing in Bangladesh at the time of application
- Agree to return to Bangladesh upon completion of their studies in the U.S
- Be willing to refund the cost of a return ticket if they return home before completion of the degree
