Netherlands Embassy in Belarus is inviting project proposals from non-governmental organizations to apply for Human Rights Funds and Small Embassy Projects Program (MATRA).
Major objective of Human Rights Fund is to support initiatives that promote implementation of fundamental freedoms and protection of the rights of groups of people that are subject to discrimination and that of MATRA is to promote the process of transformation of Belarus into a pluralist, democratic country by helping to create a stronger, more diverse civil society.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Only non-governmental organizations are eligible to apply.
- Ineligible organizations, projects, activities and budget items are –
- Projects that have already started or that have been submitted after the closing date of the calls for proposals
- Commercial activities
- Projects that are a repeat of previous projects
- (Re)construction costs (buildings) for projects
- One applicant can apply for only one project per call for proposal. If a proposal has been submitted under MATRA, the applicant cannot submit another proposal under Human Rights Fund, and vice versa.
