All eligible participants are invited to participate in The 46th Festival de Brasília Film organized by The Secretary of State of Cultureof the Fedral Districts. The objective of this program is to provide a showcase for the best of Brazilian cinema, a wide range and quality, to strengthen each year the presence of Brazilian cinema in national and international markets and contribute to increase the public of audiovisual product.
The competition is opened to fiction films, documentaries and animations produced in Brazil after August 1, 2012. The winners will receive the Candango trophy, as well as cash prizes ranging from BRL$5,000 (about US2,500) to BRL$100,000 (about US$50,000)
Eligibility & Criteria–
- Individual or entity that is not related to film production as defined in the object of this Notice;
- Server or manager that integrates the direct administration of the Federal District;
- The author’s terms of reference, the basic design or officer, person or entity, as well as companies belonging to the same economic group, so those who have understood directors, partners or common legal representatives, or using material resources, technological and human in common, unless shown to not act representing economic interests in common;
- Legal person, whose administrator, owner or partner with power steering is familiar public official, service or develop the project agency or entity of government of the Federal District where it exercises commission office or position of trust through: ( Decree No. 32.751/11, art. 8);
- Or family members of the selection committee or jury, as indicated in section VI of Article 6.
- It is considered family: spouse, partner (a) or relative in direct or collateral, by consanguinity or affinity to the third degree inclusive
