United Nations office on Drugs and Crime invites proposals for funding preventive actions of STD / HIV / AIDS and Viral Hepatitis during celebrations of 2013´s Gay Pride for which R$ 1.300.000,00 will be allocated for civil society organizations, working in this field.
The partnership with the DDAHV organized social movement expands the possibilities to confront the vulnerabilities that the LGBT population has been historically exposed, configuring itself as cornerstones for work prevention of STD / AIDS and viral hepatitis among this population segment.
LGBT Pride, based on the following principles:
- Integration with Unified Health System (SUS);
- Intersectoral partnerships;
- Prevention of STD / HIV / AIDS and viral hepatitis in facing the individual vulnerabilities, social and programmatic, and
- Incorporation of knowledge to combat the epidemic.
Will be prioritized proposals within one or more of the following activities-
- Focus on the prevention of STD / HIV / AIDS / HIV and promote the health of LGBT people;
- Promote the campaign “Fique Sabendo”
- Encourage HIV testing and early diagnosis for HIV, syphilis and viral hepatitis
- Encourage the implementation of actions for Viral Hepatitis
- Proposals must be submitted by civil society organizations having a minimum of three years of experience in activities related to the subject matter of this Call for Proposals and, the maximum value for each proposal will be R$ 30.000,00.
