United States Institute of Peace (USIP) is inviting applicants for Annual Grant Program to improve the theory and practice of conflict resolution and peacebulding. The goal of this program is to award more than 2,200 grants to practitioners, policymakers, scholars, educators, journalist, and filmmakers around the world.
Thematic areas-
- Conflict analysis and prevention;
- Mediation and conflict resolution;
- Post conflict peace and stability operations;
- Religion and peacemaking;
- Women and girls in conflict and peacebuilding;
- Rule of law and transitional justice;
- Economies and conflict;
- Social, psychological, and physical impacts of war and conflict;
- Media and conflict.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- USIP may provide grant support to nonprofit organizations and individuals—both U.S. and foreign—including the following: institutions of post-secondary, community, and secondary education; public and private education, training or research institutions, and libraries.
- American and foreign nonprofit organizations may apply.
- Applications must be submitted in English.
