The School of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary provides PhD Studentship in the fields of European Politics, International Politics, and Political Theory.
The scholarship cover tuition fees and a maintenance allowance of around £15,590 per year for up to three years.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Queen Mary Principal’s studentships are open to UK, EU and international students.
- Candidates will normally be expected to have a good first degree and a Masters degree in Politics, International Relations, or a related subject.
Other requirements-
The proposal should be approx. 1,500 words long and include an indicative bibliography. Applicants proposal should be laid out as follows-
- Title
- Background and rationale
- Research questions
- Theoretical framework
- Methods
- Practical issues
- Timescales
- Dissemination
Application must consists of-
- Completed application form
- Transcripts of previous degrees
- Proof of English language ability for overseas applicants from non-English speaking countries
- Curriculum Vitae (CV), or Resume
- Applicant’s research proposal
- A short statement explaining why applicant want to study with school
- Two references.
