All eligible applicants are invited to participate in The AERC-World Bank African Women Fellows Program. This program offers Up to US$25,000 for a 5-10 month period between December 2013 and November 2014 for travel and conduct PhD studies/research at the Office of the Chief Economist of the Africa Region at the World Bank. The research proposal must be
endorsed by her/his PhD thesis advisor.
Eligibility & criteria-
- 45 years old or under
- Home country is a developing country
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program that is located outside their home country and in a member country of the World Bank.
- Professional ties to academic or research institutions located in their home country, indicating intent / commitment to return home after attaining PhD.
- Have a master’s degree.
