United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Feed the Future Food Security Innovation Center (FSIC) is requesting applications for Sustainable Intensification Innovation Lab. The main purpose of the program is to identify, characterize, and develop pathways out of hunger and poverty for small-holder families through sustainable intensification.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Positions supported are –
- The full-time Innovation Lab Director, an employee of the ME institution, who will have overall responsibility for the management and implementation of the program and will be the principal point of contact for USAID for issues regarding program planning and implementation; and
- Three Full-Time Regional Coordinators, stationed in a regional coordination country, one in each of the three regions, who will help ensure that decisions and analyses are consistent with on-the-ground realities, that activities are aligned with USAID country and region priorities and geographies, and that critical partners are engaged from the beginning of the project.
- The program will work across – West Africa (Ghana, Liberia, Mali, and Senegal), East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia) and Southern Africa, and South Asia Bangladesh, Cambodia, and/or Myanmar (Burma).
