International Youth Conference on Human Development is being organized on 27-28 October 2012 at Kathmandu Nepal . National Youth Federation Nepal and Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) Nepal is jointly hosting this conference.
Since 1984, the Institute of Cultural Affairs had hosted seven international conferences concerned with the human factor in Development and re-emergence of civil society. The conferences were highly participatory and focused on practical sharing of approaches that work. Interchange, Dialogue and designing creative responses to particular area of concern in the society are the aims of ICA conferences. The conference is divided into two parts: The Main Conference and the International Youth Conference. The Main conference anticipates the participation from the renown and mostly established personalities of the society. Meanwhile the form of the youth conference is motivated, socially encouraged and diverse carrier holders young people.
Hence, we would like to announce the call for application to the youth conference by 15th October 2012 and encourage youth to grab the opportunity of being the part of historical opportunity at this Himalayan republic of having the dialogues and result oriented way forward to assure the viable future on the concrete youth issues among the youths from different territorial and cultural backgrounds.
