The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Somalia would like to invite registered Local and International Non Governmental Organizations (LNGOs) and National Institutions (CBOs, CSOs, Training Institutions, Research Institutions, Community Management Committees, Consultancy Firms, and related institutions) to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in the implementation of the Access to Justice project of Governance and Rule of Law (GROL) in all regions of Somalia.
The UNDP GROL Programme intends to build confidence, stability and security through the involvement of state actors in partnership with the community in order to reduce and prevent armed violence, create favorable conditions for recovery and development. UNDP recognizes the importance to actively involving the Community to work in partnership with local authorities to improve security. Maximizing engagement with communities will ensure continuity and ownership, creating a balance between institution building and community/civil society empowerment.
Eligibility criteria–
- Legally registered Institutions with experience in implementing programs in the community.
- Clear Organizational profile and Structure with experienced team of community development specialists, team leader with planning expertise, and specialized technical staff as well as skilled administration and finance personnel.
- Clear organizational policies in programming and operational systems, guidelines and procedures of the institution
- Clear geographical coverage of the institution with proof of projects implemented in the past three years
- Previous experience in working with UN and/or other humanitarian agencies, preferably on community based approach
- Introduction and confirmation of technical capability, reliability and/or guarantees of good performance from Authorities/Agencies, based on previous experience.
