Deadline: 6 January 2014
Echoing Green is accepting fellowship applications from profit or non-profit organizations that are in the start-up phase. The organization can apply for either Climate Fellowship or Black Male Achievement Fellowship depending on the nature of the organization. Climate fellowship is offered to next-generation social entrepreneurs committed to working on innovations in mitigation and adaptation to climate change. Black Male Achievement Fellowship is offered to new and innovative organizations dedicated to improving the life outcomes of black men and boys in the U.S.
If there is more than one founder of the organization, two founders and co-leaders can apply for Echoing Green Fellowship if both partners individually meet all of Echoing Green’s eligibility requirements, including agreeing to work full-time (minimum 35 hours per week) for the duration of the two year fellowship and both of them are clear co-founders and co-leaders in the organization. The partners may have different roles within the organization itself but both should have equal decision-making authority and have had equal involvement in the founding of the organization. If any partner is found to fail to meet these criteria during the review process, both applicants may be disqualified and removed from the competition.
