German federal and state governments’ Excellence are offering funding for Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowships research program. The purpose of this fellowship is to focus on outstanding young researchers who wish to conduct a postdoctoral research project at Humboldt‐Universität zu Berlin.
Documents required-
- a standard application form, including an academic CV
- a description of the post‐doctoral project, including main research objectives (max. two pages)
- a list of publications
- a letter of recommendation (preferably from PhD advisor)
- a statement by applicant’s prospective host institution at Humboldt‐Universität zu Berlin
- a copy of thesis and one additional significant publication from the last two years (specialist article, lecture, book chapter)
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship funding line is aimed at outstanding young researchers from Germany and abroad who plan to pursue an academic career/a professorship and would like to carry out a postdoctoral research project at Humboldt-Universität to develop their academic profile. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their previous academic achievements, their postdoctoral project proposal and their international network of contacts.
