National Institutes of Health is accepting applications for Functional Glycomics in HIV Vaccine Design to stimulate novel areas of research on the role of glycosylation in HIV-1 envelope protein immunogenicity and modulation of the immune response to HIV viral infection.
Objective of this program-
- investigate structural and conformational features of HIV glycosylation that may lead to novel HIV vaccine design approaches
- elucidate the impact of differential glycosylation on the quality of the immune response to HIV.

- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
- Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
- Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education
- For profit organizations other than small businesses
- Small businesses
- Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are eligible to apply
