Newcastle University is pleased to offer funding opportunity for 2013 Overseas PhD Research Scholarship for which the courses are offered by the university.
Award will be given approximately £5,000 to £9,000 per annum, which covers the difference between fees for UK/EU students and international students.
Eligibility–
- Applicant have been offered a place on a PhD research programme
- Applicant have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes, and are wholly or partially self-financing
- Applicant intend to register to start their studies during the 2013/14 academic year.
- Applications for an ORS award cannot be made for a course that has already been started by a student.
How to Apply?
- Applicant must have already applied for and been offered a place to study at Newcastle University before applicant apply for an Overseas Research Scholarship (ORS).
- Please complete the ORS application form electronically and in accordance with the ORS regulations, which are provided at the end of the application form. Applicant will also be required to provide details of an academic referee; the University will then contact their referee directly.
- Applications must be submitted electronically via the email address provided in website.
- If applicant experience problems with the application form, please contact Student Financial Support who can e-mail a copy of the form and the regulations to applicant.
