Gender Mainstreaming in Projects and Programmes is being organized for 2 weeks sponsored by Netherlands organisation for international co-operation in higher education (NUFFIC). The goal of this program is to assure that equal numbers of men and women are participating is a measure taken.
Objectives-
At the end of this 10 day course applicants are able to-
- apply a gender perspective in the life cycle of a development intervention; in identification, formulation, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- apply an Appreciative Inquiry approach at relevant stages of the project or programme
- design project and programmes, monitor and evaluate on gender equality and act as a change agent in the change process
- prepare a gender assessment of their organisation and their workplace
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The NFP target group consists of professionals who are nationals of and work and live in an NFP country.
- Priority will be given to-
- live and work in Sub-Saharan Africa
- are a woman
- belong to a priority groups and/or are from a marginalised region as defined by the Dutch embassy in their country
