Helie Memorial is accepting photography submissions on the theme ‘Woman and Art’ for 3rd International Concourse Helie Memorial. The aim of the concourse is to collect works that communicate the relation between the woman and the art, in its widest aspect. Individuals around the world can submit their concourse – the present to this concourse, works that show the main prominence that always had, have and has to have, the woman in the art, and at any part of the world.
Announcement of winners will be made on 8th February 2014. Award ceremony will be held on 22 February 2014 at the Exhibition Hall of Casa de la Cultura in Villena. The exhibition of the winning and other selected photographs will take place at the Exhibition Hall of Casa de la Cultura, in Villena, from 22 February to 16 March 2014.
Prizes –
- First prize – 2,000 Euros
- Second prize – 1,000 Euros
- Third prize – 500 Euros
Eligibility/Rules –
- Contestant can be national of and permanent resident of any country. Independent entries will also be accepted coming from any author and anywhere in the world.
- All photographs submitted must carry on its back the title of the photography and the author’s details: name, surname, ID number, postal address, phone number, e-mail address and country.
- Each contestant may submit up to 4 photographs. They must not have been shown in this place. A unique copy (not mass-produced), and not works that have already won a prize in any other concourse.
- The used technique and the size of the photographs will be freewill, whenever the works will be reproduced in high quality supports. The works must be mounted in a black or white color, 40×50 cm passe-partout.
- Each contestant must submit a digital file of the submitted works in the same size, with a resolution of 300 dpi and as a JPEG format.
