Applicants around the globe are invited to submit applications for French-American Foundation’s Immigration Journalism Award supported by Ford Foundation. The purpose of this program is to bring increased national and international attention to the topic of immigration and integration.
Eligibility & Criteria-
The French-American Foundation is seeking meaningful, visionary stories on under-reported topics with a strong social justice component. The Foundation particularly seeks both creative content and format, and all types of stories will be considered (local, global, cultural, economic, etc.). Journalists can apply individually, and teams can also apply for a single award. Journalists of all nationalities can apply, as long as the work submitted for consideration is in English or French and was published by a U.S. or European media no earlier than January 2012.
How to apply?
Applying is easy: just fill in a form online (name, phone number, address, etc) and submit piece, two work samples, a resume and contact information for two professional references (no letter of recommendation necessary)
