Interested applicants are invited to submit applications for Institutional Development and Organisational Strengthening Course offered for 2 weeks. This program will be conducted from 19-30 May 2014. This program is sponsored by Netherlands organisation for international co-operation in higher education (NUFFIC).
Objectives-
At the end of this course applicants will-
- Have gained insight in the steps and logic of a systematic capacity development process
- Have acquired tools to analyze organizations as open systems: understanding organizations in relation to their environment
- Be able to analyze and assess the performance of an organization in a systematic way
- Have learned how to identify and decide on strategies for improving organizational capacity
- Understand the essential conditions for successful change in organizations and the implications for individuals working in organizations
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must be manager, adviser or consultant who is responsible for, or involved with, enhancing the performance of their organization or institution
- Applicants are keen to learn about the process of mapping, analyzing and building the capacity of your (partner) organisation(s) in the context of existing or developing partnerships and networks
- The NFP target group consists of professionals who are nationals of and work and live in an NFP country
- Priority will be given to-
- live and work in Sub-Saharan Africa
- are a woman
- belong to a priority groups and/or are from a marginalized region as defined by the Dutch embassy in their country
