International River Foundation is inviting international organizations involved in river management, restoration and/or protection to apply for River Prize 2014.
Prizes –
- Thiess International River Prize – open to Australian, European and all other International applicants from any country.
- Australian River Prize – only to Australian Applicants.
- IRF European River Prize – only to European Applicants. Deadline is 30 May 2014.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Organizations or groups of organizations involved in river management, restoration and/or protection are eligible to apply for one of the Riverprize awards.
- Organizations that are engaged in best practice river, wetland, lake, and catchment management from around the world can apply for the prize.
- Applicants can only enter one category in a year.
- Riverprize winners are not eligible to reapply for 10 years in the same category. Finalists can reapply at any time.
- Any single organization or in partnership with another organization can only submit the one application for the same river.
- A single organization or in partnership can apply for different rivers or different projects but not be part of two applications for the one river or project.
- A single organization cannot have or be part of more than one application for the same river in the same category.
