All eligible applicants are invited to submit applications for Master’s, Professional, or Doctoral International Research Grant program offered by University of Minnesota. The goal of this program is to focus on the region of South Asia and the issue of Global Food Security.
Awards offered-
- Approximately eight awards up to $5,000 each
- Funding to be used during the time period of January 1, 2014-June 30, 2015

Eligibility & criteria-
Applicants should have backgrounds and interests that identify them as outstanding students who are clearly committed to the study global challenges. Eligible proposals focus on the following-
- any aspect of South Asia (defined for this competition as including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka)
- any aspect of global food security
- aspects of both South Asia and global food security
