Qualified Journalists are invited submit applications for Mobile Journalist offered by Thomson Reuters Foundation. The purpose of this program is to revolutionizing the worldwide exchange of information and ideas — and changing the way we live.
This five-day intensive programme teaches the full range of skills required for effective visual storytelling—from idea development and pitching to shooting, producing, scriptwriting, narrating and editing.
Submissions-
- A short biography of no more than 250 words
- A statement detailing your work and what you hope to gain from the course
- A recent example of your published work
Eligibility & Criteria-
This programme is open to journalists from the developing world who have a minimum of two years working experience as a journalist. It helps if applicants have previous experience in photography and some facility with cameras but this is not a requirement. To get the full benefit from this programme it is helpful to use own equipment. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in journalism in their country and have a good level in spoken and written English.
