Proposals are accepted under Europe Aid for National Development Policy Support Programme for South Africa-Civil Society Component. The goal of this proposal is to target Skills development and job creation initiatives. Under this call support the implementation of the South African key development policies, strategies and plans in the area of job creation and skills development is expected. The objective of this program is to reduce poverty by contributing to the to the target of getting 5 million more jobs by 2020.
The overall indicative amount made available under this proposal is €7 200 000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 36.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, non-state actors, public sector operators, local authorities, international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation.
- be established in a Member State of the European Union
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- be able to demonstrate capacity to manage large scale activity corresponding to the size of the project or programme for which a grant is requested and to ensure the necessary co-financing
- be active in South Africa
