Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) is accepting fellowship applications for Training on ‘Lost Harvest and Wasted Food : Managing the Crop Supply Chain for Increased Food Security – Strengthening Insights to Reduce the Food Lost’ being held from 15 to 26 September 2014. Training course Lost Harvest and Wasted Food organized by Wageningen UR Center for Development Innovation, the Netherlands, shades light on the contrast between the lost of 30-40% post-harvest food because it is never consumed and a large population dying in hunger every year because food never reaches them.
