Netherlands Fellowship Program (NFP) is accepting applications for short term training course entitled ‘Adaptive Management of Natural Resources’ being provided by Wageningen UR Center for Development Innovation (CDI). The course offers a critical analysis of current developments and trends in the NRM sector, and advocates an adaptive management approach (AM).
The training will be conducted from 20 to 31 October 2014.
Eligible candidates must apply to training course at CDI and also apply for NFP through Nuffic system, Scholarship Online (SOL) to be considered for fellowship.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be of at least a BSc-level (or equivalent) and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience to be eligible for the short course of CDI.
- Applicants must be government or non-government professionals who are the nationals of and work and live in NFP Country with at least three years experience and is nominated by her/his employer with clear need for training within the context of organization to be eligible for NFP.
- Mid-to senior-level resource managers and rural development, agriculture, forestry, fisheries and nature conservation sectors, academia, private sector and civil society representatives with a stake in rural development and the NRM sectors are invited to apply for the training course.
