World of Children Award is inviting nominations from around the world for offering honor and grant amount to the individuals who have made significant contribution to children. The award aims to honor the individual and provide a grant money that will help the organization (throught which the person works for children) make more impact.
Award Categories –
- Humanitarian Award – individual who has made a significant contribution to children in the areas of social services, education or humanitarian services. will receive a minimum award of $50,000.
- Health Award – individual who has made significant contribution to children in the fields of health, medicine or the sciences will receive minimum grant award $50,000.
- Youth Award – youth making extraordinary contributions to the lives of other children will receive minimum grant award $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Nominee can be from anywhere around the globe.
- Nominee must have created, managed or otherwise supported a sustainable program which has significantly contributed to children’s opportunities to be safe, to learn and to grow to be eligible for Humanitarian Award. Nominee must have been doing this work for a minimum of 10 years.
- Nominee must have created, managed or otherwise supported a sustainable program which has significantly contributed to the improved health of children to be eligible for Health Award.
- Nominee must do this work over and above their normal employment, OR work for little or no pay and must have been doing this work for a minimum of 10 years to be eligible for humanitarian and health awards.
- Nominee must have an existing non-profit organization in good standing, which can receive grant funds if awarded.
- For Youth Award, nominee must be under the age of 21 and must be doing this work for three years by the deadline.
- Self nominations are also accepted.
