Nominations are accepted for David Kato Vision & Voice Award (DKVVA) which aims to recognize leaders who work to uphold the sexual rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) people around the world. The purpose of this award is to to recognize those who are working to eliminate violence, stigma and discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Nominations for the award are accepted for any individual whose leadership and life work has directly contributed to addressing the sexual rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people in their community.
- An individual can be self nominated or be nominated by an individual or organization familiar with the nominee’s work.
- A nomination form must be completed online by an individual or organization. Nominations are accepted in English, French or Spanish.
