Cambodian Youth Action (CYA) invites local volunteers to join special workcamp for World Environment Day (WED). The workshop aims to spread awareness about the environment and WED.
Objectives
- Raise awareness about the environment and World Environment Day
- Encourage the public in planting trees and taking care of environment
- Educate people about the effect of trash and plastic bags for their health and society
The Cambodian Youth Action Environmental Workcamp is a 2-week international workcamp which will celebrate form 23 May – 5 June 2015. The workcamp will start in Phnom Penh, and different groups will switch to four different provinces. At the end all groups are to meet back in Phnom Penh for the WED campaign.
CYA is a non-profit, non-government organization established in aims to promote young people education, environmental preservation, and rural community development through voluntary service.
Eligibility Information – All individuals, university students, and volunteers are welcome to participate.

- Session 1 (23-27 May) – Environmental training
- Session 2 (28 May-02 June) – Environmental campaign
- Session 3 (03-05 June) – WED day campaign
