University of Sunshine Coast is accepting applications for PhD Scholarship in Interactive Media (Computer Games, Apps, Social Media and Artworks). The purpose of this program is to conduct research and develop interactive technologies such as computer games, smartphone and tablet applications, social media and artworks, where users can become involved, informed and inspired to change the world.
Benefits-
- Stipend (living allowance) A$24,653 per annum tax free for three years (2013 full-time rate, commensurate with APA rate)
- up to $6,000 travel and project costs over three years
- Tuition fees for the standard duration of the PhD program (three years)
Eligibility & Criteria-
- hold a Bachelor degree with First class Honours, or have an equivalent level of attainment via previous study, work experience, research publications, referee’s reports and other research experience
- demonstrate an interest, knowledge and experience of software development
- maintain satisfactory progress as a full-time candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast
