The Red Umbrella Fund has been announced which aims to strengthen and ensure the sustainability of the sex worker rights movement by catalysing new funding specifically for sex worker-led organisations and national, regional and global networks. The purpose of this program is to focus on promoting sex workers’ human rights, building sex workers’ capacities (especially through peer capacity building), and strengthening and sustaining the sex workers’ rights movement.
The Red Umbrella Fund currently provides grants between 4.000 EURO to 40.000 EURO
Eligibility & Criteria-
The Red Umbrella Fund provides funding to sex worker-led organisations and networks that are-
- based in any country in the world
- registered or unregistered
- led by women, men and/or trans
