The Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law is accepting fellowship applications for Security Studies Pre-doctoral Fellowship 2014/15. The major aim of the fellowship program is to stimulate the development of the next generation of researchers and thought leaders and encourage them to engage in policy-relevant research on the topic of security studies.
The Strauss Center encourages applications from women, minorities, and citizens of all countries. Applicants working on a broad range of topics related to issues of national and international security, law, and diplomacy are invited to apply for the fellowship. The fellowship includes a nine-month stipend of $24,000 and one round-trip airline ticket.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Advanced PhD students who have made substantial progress towards the completion of their dissertation are eligible to apply for the fellowship.
- Students from all disciplines, both social and natural sciences and all countries are eligible to apply.
Applicant should submit a 3-5 page dissertation prospectus, curriculum vitae, a short writing sample, three sealed letters of recommendation, and a sealed graduate school transcript along with the application by mail before deadline.
