The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) is offering a training program on Strategies for Chemicals Management in Sundbyberg Sweden in the months of September 2015 and May2016.
The programme is designed to provide participants with knowledge and experiences of the key elements needed for building up an efficient chemicals control system, focusing on preventive measures.
Course Highlights
- Building networks for collaboration and exchange of experience nationally, regionally and internationally.
- The importance of multilateral (international) environmental agreements.
- Development of an action plan at country level for the continued development of chemicals control.
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates should have a relevant university degree in technical or natural sciences.
- Proficient in English.
- Persons employed by ministries or authorities will be preferred.
- People from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam are prioritized.
- Candidates from China, India, Indonesia and other countries are also invited to apply.

- Write a Concept note of 1-3 pages stating the project analysis and introduction of the organization.
- Submit the application form and concept note to the Swedish Embassy in the applicant’s country or send it via email.
