SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is an international development organisation of Dutch origin with over 40 years of experience. It currently operates in 32 countries in Africa, Asia and the Balkans. SNV supports national and local actors within government, civil society and the private sector to find and implement local solutions to social and economic development challenges. It stimulates and sets the framework for the poor to strengthen their capacities and escape poverty.
SNV Cambodia is part of SNV Netherlands Development Organisation. It began operating in Cambodia in 2005 in two sectors, Renewable Energy (National Biodigester Programme) in 8 provinces of Cambodia and Pro-poor Sustainable Tourism in the North East Cambodia. In 2009, SNV Cambodia expanded into two more sectors, Small Holder Cash Crops (Fruits and Vegetables, and Bio fuel) and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
The Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All (SSH4A) is an SNV project funded by AusAID, which aims to improve health and quality of life of rural households in Kompot and Kratie Provinces by enhancing access to improved sanitation services and hygiene behaviour and practices. Component three of the program: develop, test, and pilot innovative behaviour change communication strategy (BCC strategy), will be implementing two behaviour change communication campaigns on sanitation and hygiene among two identified target groups.
In this context, SNV invites qualified organizations for the development of communication materials for implementation of the BCC strategy.
Objectives
The objective of this assignment is to provide the creative and design ideas and to develop two sets of BCC materials as identified in the SNV-SSH4A BCC strategy.
Deliverables
Within the above described objective the organisations will provide the following deliverables:
– Develop an overarching campaign theme and messages and creative design of printed materials and script for radio spot for the two set of materials
– Pre-test the approved designs and radio script in target villages of the two provinces
– Work with SNV to seek approval from the concerned ministry on the materials
– Deliver the ready-to-print art works of the materials
– Production of the radio spot
