Agricultures Network International Year of Family Farming (IYFF) is inviting farmers, women, young people and everyone around the globe to submit photo for the photo competition on the theme Family Farming: Feeding the World, Caring for the Earth – how worldwide family farmers produce healthy and nutritious food while they respect the environment and contribute to biodiversity.
Selections –
- Total Seven Winning Photographs – one first prize and six second prizes, one for each continent will be selected by a jury.
- Five “popular choice” photos will be selected by the public through an online voting system.
- The winning photos will be announced at the end of October 2014 during a special IYFF event.
Prizes –
- First Place Photo – 400 Euros
- Second Place Photo – 200 Euros
- Popular/People’s Choice Photo – 100 Euros each.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Anyone around the globe can enter photo for the competition.
- Entries must visualize the strength, potential and contributions and challenges of sustainable, multifunctional family farmers worldwide, in all their diversity and contexts.
