The DO School is offering opportunity to participate in Sustainable Cup Challenge which aims develop and present a sustainable to-go cup, as well as a related infrastructure and campaign, for New York City. The purpose of this program is to learn from leading experts about a variety of topics including the environmental impact of materials and packaging, recycling systems, as well as branding and campaigning.
Fellows will conduct research to identify and understand their target groups and stakeholders, and into available best-practices regarding packaging materials and design.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The one-year DO School program is open to highly motivated and talented emerging social entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 28. For Challenges that take place in the US, the minimum age is 21. This means that on the first day of the program a Fellow must be at least 18 (21) years old and no older than 28.
- The DO School program is selective regarding demonstrated motivation and previous achievements in planning and initiating innovative social change. Applicants regardless of their socioeconomic or educational background and encourage applications from university students or graduates as well as individuals without higher education alike are supported.
- The DO School program is aimed at individuals who are eager to engage with other emerging social entrepreneurs from different cultures, to learn hands-on, and to work together with experienced experts from the respective project field. The DO School program is ideal for outstanding young people who are looking for the tools, skills, and mentoring to kick-start their start-up ventures. An applicant must demonstrate determination, good ideas, and the willingness to use our program to start up new or grow existing ventures.
- Each DO School Fellow is expected to apply for our program with an idea for a social venture they want to start and work on during the Fellowship, be it a non-profit, social business, artistic initiative, or campaign.
- The DO School program is conducted in English.
