Participants around the world are invited to participate in tvebiomovies film competition. Participants will have the opportunity to win grand prize of up to US$1500.
Categories-
- The UNEP Prize for Climate Change
- The Lighthouse Foundation Prize for the Seas and Oceans
- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Sustainable Resource Initiative Prize
- The Biodiversity International Prize for Agricultural and Forest Biodiversity
- The Inlaks Shivdasani Prize for People and the Planet
- The UNEP Prize for Food Waste
- The WWF-UK Prize for a World Worth Protecting
Requirements-
- Films must be a maximum of one minute in duration, including credits and titles. Any film that exceeds 70 seconds in duration will be disqualified.
- The format of the film must be mov, mp4, or wmv.
- Each film must be entered into one of the seven categories.
- films that are creative about how they address the environmental issues are expected
- Films can come from individuals or groups, but there must be a lead filmmaker.
- Funding of $300 will be paid to the selected fourteen finalists only on successful receipt of their completed films.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- This competition is open to any person of any age, in any country. The purpose of the competition is for people worldwide to propose a one-minute film about the environment.
- Entries can come from individuals, or groups. Group entries must have a named group leader, whose details should be submitted on the entry form. Entries can only be submitted in English, Arabic, French, Russian or Spanish.
